Tracking My Academic Progress
Tools for Tracking your Academic Progress
Between tracking academic requirements, satisfying course prerequisites, and fitting courses into your schedule, planning for the semester can be a challenge. Your academic advisor is a critical resource for this process, but the Student Administration System also provides some useful tools in navigating the process.
- Student Admin Registration and Planning Tools
- Academic Requirements Report: Tracks your progress as you work to complete your current declared program(s). It combines your coursework history and graduation requirements into one comprehensive report that allows you to easily view what has been satisfied and what is still outstanding to earn your degree. You can use the report to target courses to fulfill remaining requirements as well as save or print a PDF snapshot of your progress toward your degree.
- What-If Advisement Reports: View how coursework would fit into a different academic program and plan using a What-If Advisement Report.
- Steps Toward a Successful Graduation: View the Office of the Registrar's detailed list of steps for ensuring all of your graduation plans remain on track.
Understanding Plans of Study
Plans of Study list graduation requirements for every major and minor. Students should use a Plan of Study to track their progress toward earning a degree. A Final Plan of Study is required for all students who intend to graduate. Some programs only accept paper plans of study, while other programs require an electronic plan of study to be submitted through the Student Administration System. Check with your advisor or department to find out how your plan of study should be submitted. The instructions below can be used to submit your Final Plan of Study through the Student Administration System.
